What is dropo Scouts?

dropo’s referral programme. You support businesses that want to sell on dropo until they sign up: they register with your code and take out a subscription — happily on the spot, on their phone. If a store takes out a paid subscription through you, you earn a commission. You never accept money yourself; payment always goes through dropo. You work for dropo — employed, on commission, with an employment contract.

How do I become a Scout?

You apply further down this page. We look at every application. If everything fits, we get in touch and send you the contract documents to sign; then we ask for the details needed for your pay (for example ID, bank details and AHV number). After that you receive your personal code and link.

Does it cost anything to become a Scout?

No. There is nothing to buy. Recruiting other Scouts earns no commission.

How do the commissions work?

You receive 30% in year 1, 20% in year 2 and 10% after that – of the store’s contribution margin. We settle every month after month-end and show you all amounts. Each commission is first 45 days under review. The commission is your gross salary.

When do I get paid?

Once a month with your payslip, by bank transfer to a Swiss or Liechtenstein account. We pay out the net salary as soon as approved commissions reach at least CHF 20; smaller amounts carry over to the next month.

Which stores count?

A business that registers through your link or enters your code and takes out a paid plan within 90 days. The first valid Scout counts. Not counted: stores that already pay, your own store, and companies you own or control.

When does the commission end?

You earn commission only while your employment contract runs and the store pays: each paid subscription month is a separate earning. It ends if the store cancels and does not return within 90 days, if your employment contract ends or if we end the programme. After that, no further commission arises, including from later subscription months. Commission on payments received before the end remains yours.

Do I have to keep set working hours?

No. You decide when, where and how much you recommend. There are no targets, no territory and no minimum number.

Do I need prior knowledge?

No. It helps if you know businesses that suit dropo and enjoy talking to people.

From what age can I take part?

From 18.

Am I employed? What is deducted?

Yes. You work for dropo on commission, with an employment contract. The commission is your gross salary: we deduct the employee contributions to AHV/IV/EO (5.3%) and unemployment insurance (1.1%) and pay the same share on top as your employer. If you earn no more than CHF 2500 a year, AHV contributions are only taken if you ask. If you work at least eight hours a week for dropo, non-occupational accident insurance is added; without a Swiss passport or a C permit we deduct withholding tax. You get a payslip every month and a salary certificate at the end of the year for your tax return.

Can the contract change?

Yes, but only for the future: with your consent or by notice of change. In that case we give notice with the contractual period and at the same time offer you the new terms. We can also end the programme entirely, likewise with a notice period. We announce changes by e-mail. Commission already earned remains yours.
